Congress Venue:
Congress sessions on September 3 - 6 will be held in the Tandogan Campus of Ankara University.

Conference halls in Faculty of Pharmacy building #2 will be used.
Registration and Information Services:
The registration and information desks will be located in the Congress venue during the Congress.
Name Badges:
Name badges will be distributed at the registration desks. Name Badges must be worn to enter scientific sessions, exhibition areas and all social activities. Participants without badges will not be admitted to the congress activities.
Certificate of Attendance:
A certificate of attendance will be presented to all registered attendants.
Exhibition Area:
Exhibition area will be available during the congress.
Congress Book / CD:
The congress book/CD, which includes lecturers’ text and abstracts, will be delivered to the congress participants.
Presentation Submission / Control Room:
A room for presentation submission and control will be in service for the speakers who wish to control their presentations during the symposium. In the event that the presentation is made from an individual computer then it will be transferred to congress computers by the persons in charge. If requested, the presentation will be deleted after it is delivered under the supervision of speakers.
Invitation Letter:
A formal letter of invitation will be provided upon request to the participants requiring the permission of their employer to attend the congress. The invitation letters facilitate participation in the congress and do not imply any commitment on the part of the organizer to provide any financial support. For the purpose of visa applications and other official procedure Letters of Invitation can be provided by the Organizing Committee. Invitation letters will be provided only for registered participants who have paid the full registration fee.
Passport and Visa:
Every foreign visitor entering Turkey must possess a valid passport. Participants from countries requiring a visa for entry to Turkey are strongly advised to make their applications in their home countries at least one month before the intended date of travel. If in doubt, information can be obtained from the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate. Please click here to obtain visa information for foreigners. Most visitor visas are obtainable for a fee on arrival at the airport, but it is advisable to check in sufficient time before departure. Please check with your travel agent whether you require an entry visa to Turkey.
Insurance:
The congress organizers cannot accept liability for any personal injuries sustained, or any loss or damage of property either during or as a result of the congress. Please ensure that you have full coverage in your personal insurance policy.
Banks and Currency Exchange:
The currency unit is Turkish Lira (TL). Convertible foreign currency may be exchanged at the airport, hotels and banks and also private foreign exchange offices throughout the city that operate between 08.00 to 18.00 hrs. Local banks are open from 08.30 to 17.00 hrs from Monday to Friday. They are closed at weekends and at public holidays.
Time Zone:
Time is two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +2) in Turkey.
Electric Currency:
Electric Currency is 220 Volt, AC 50 cycles. Two-pin round plugs are used. The converters can be provided from hotel receptions.

Pay phones are available at the congress venue as well as in the city. Phone cards are widely available in shops. The international dialing code for Turkey is 90, and the code for Ankara city is 312

Climate:
In September the weather is usually warm in Ankara. The average high is 23°C and the average low is 19°C. Evenings could be chilly and delegates are therefore recommended to bring light coat.
Driving License:
International Driving Licenses are recognized throughout Turkey. Car Rental Companies ask for a valid driving license and sometimes 3 years of driving experience.
Credit Cards:
All major credit cards (Visa, Master Card) are accepted in Turkey by restaurants, hotels, shops and at the Congress Registration Desks.
Tipping:
Tipping is not mandatory in Turkey. However it is customary to add 10% in restaurants if you are satisfied with the service.
Airport Transportation:
Roundtrip airport transportation for the participants who inform the organizing secretariat of their flight itinerary can be organized.
